I lived my whole live for others, doing nothing for my own gain. After facing a premature death, I am rewarded with the gift of reincarnation in another world... As a witch, on trial, and soon to face death unless a miracle happens. But perhaps miracles really do happen sometimes? Because on the brink of execution, I am offered a deal.

All I have to do is use my powers to aid the royal family, and I can go free. But... what exactly are those "powers" everyone keeps going on about? Because of some kind of "magic" I'm supposed to be able to use, I have to go with a princess on a mission neither of us really understands. And what's all this about me having to fight? I've never been in a fight in my life, you know — or at least that used to be the case in my old life.

Will I really be able to win my own freedom? Before my own powers start failing me, or even worse, before the very people I'm supposed to be helping turn against me...
